Fast automatic fire with a little spread. The Assault Carbine is a standard-grade rifle in Squadbreak that any class can use as a primary.
Stats
As it drops, and with every upgrade part at its Standard cap (3 levels, before Augment Cores). Your level, skills, mods and boosts add more damage and fire rate on top.

How to get it
The Assault Carbine only drops in missions, from gun cases (amber) dropped by enemies, bosses and mission wins. It can drop once you’re level 1 or higher: gear more than 2 levels above you never drops.
Standard is the grade rolled on 45% of drops on tier-1 maps, 40% of drops on tier-2 maps, 15% of drops on tier-3 maps, and 0% of tier-3 boss drops. See loot and drops.
A gun you already own is scrapped for gold when it drops again.
Upgrades
Spend gold in the Inventory to upgrade each part up to its grade’s cap. Taking every part to the cap costs about 14,345 gold. An Augment Core plus gold then pushes a capped part 2 levels further at 1.5× strength.
