Medic
The Medic keeps the squad alive. Mend heals you and everyone nearby for a third of their health, Adrenaline speeds up movement and fire rate for every squadmate around you, and the Resuscitation class skill gets downed squadmates back on their feet much faster.

Abilities
Press 1, 2 in a mission. Abilities never deal damage themselves: they boost you and your squad, and damage comes from guns, grenades and turrets.
Heal yourself and nearby allies for 35% of max HP.
You and nearby allies gain +30% speed and +40% fire rate for 5s.
Medic class skill
Only Medics can learn this skill, with the same skill points as every other skill.
+60% faster revives: stand over a downed squadmate per rank.
How to play the Medic
Stay in the middle of the squad so Mend and Adrenaline reach everyone. Both work in a wide radius around you.
When a squadmate goes down, stand over them: with points in Resuscitation they get back up right where they fell, far sooner than the usual wait.
Adrenaline is also a damage boost: more fire rate for every gun in range. Use it at the start of big fights.
Tips
- Put early points into Resuscitation: each rank makes revives much faster.
- The Spore Launcher’s clouds heal allies, and the Leech Rifle heals you as you deal damage.
- A Medic stands out on harder maps and in Survival, where the squad going down at once ends the run.
- Regeneration and Vitality keep you alive so you can keep everyone else alive.
