Combat Medic
A Medic who heals by fighting: the Leech Rifle heals you for a quarter of the damage it deals, and the squad buffs still go out.

Loadout

How to play it
Fight in the middle of the squad: every hit heals you, so you can stay in the fight while Mend looks after everyone else.
Adrenaline at the start of a fight boosts your own fire rate too, which means more healing.
Skills at level 50
All 49 skill points. Resetting skills is free, so you can try a build any time.

Upgrade order
Gold goes furthest on the suit parts that matter most for this build. Take these to their cap first:
- Plating: +3% damage reduction per level, up to 5 levels on the Combat Plate
- Reinforced Frame: +5% max HP per level, up to 5 levels on the Combat Plate
- Energy Cells: +4% faster ability cooldowns per level, up to 5 levels on the Combat Plate
Maxing every part costs about 18,000 gold for the suit, 68,000 for the Leech Rifle and 68,000 for the Desert Hawk. See progression.
Getting there
Gear only drops, and never more than 2 levels above you: the Leech Rifle can drop from level 8, the Desert Hawk from level 8 and the Combat Plate from level 4. Until then, play the same way with the best guns you’ve found (see the best early guns), and put your first points into Resuscitation, Power, Trigger Finger.
