Upgrade order
Gold goes furthest on the suit parts that matter most for this build. Take these to their cap first:
- Servos: +3% move speed per level, up to 7 levels on the Phantom Weave
- Energy Cells: +4% faster ability cooldowns per level, up to 7 levels on the Phantom Weave
- Plating: +3% damage reduction per level, up to 7 levels on the Phantom Weave
Maxing every part costs about 40,445 gold for the suit, 33,535 for the Tactical DMR and 68,000 for the Desert Hawk. See progression.
Getting there
Gear only drops, and never more than 2 levels above you: the Tactical DMR can drop from level 4, the Desert Hawk from level 8 and the Phantom Weave from level 10. Until then, play the same way with the best guns you’ve found (see the best early guns), and put your first points into Steady Aim, Precision, Power.
