A close-range spread of pellets. The Scattergun is a scrap-grade shotgun in Squadbreak that any class can use as a primary.
Stats
As it drops, and with every upgrade part at its Scrap cap (1 level, before Augment Cores). Your level, skills, mods and boosts add more damage and fire rate on top.

How to get it
Every account owns the Scattergun from the start: new Vanguards start with it.
Scrap is the grade rolled on 40% of drops on tier-1 maps, 10% of drops on tier-2 maps, 0% of drops on tier-3 maps, and 0% of tier-3 boss drops. See loot and drops.
A gun you already own is scrapped for gold when it drops again.

Upgrades
Spend gold in the Inventory to upgrade each part up to its grade’s cap. Taking every part to the cap costs about 1,460 gold. An Augment Core plus gold then pushes a capped part 2 levels further at 1.5× strength.
